Mechanical Engineering internship

This is not an internship where you watch. We design vehicles certified to EN 17860 that live seven years on the street, and we have our own test rig, so the loop between drawing a part and finding out whether it holds is short. You will be inside that loop: preparing tests, assembling, measuring, and writing down what happened when something failed.

You will have a senior engineer next to you and real work with a date on it. The interesting part is the failures. A part that breaks on the rig teaches you more in an afternoon than a term of theory, and here you get to see why with the part in your hands.

Responsibilities

• Support part design and the preparation of test rig campaigns.
• Assemble, measure and document what happens when a part fails.
• Keep drawings, test records and documentation in order.
• Take part in field testing with vehicles in real operation.

• Studying mechanical or industrial engineering, with a university internship agreement in place.
• Fluent enough in CAD to draw a part and modify it.
• Comfortable in a workshop, with tools and with getting your hands dirty.
• Based in Seville or willing to relocate.

Counts in your favour

• A student team: Formula Student, Moto Student or similar.
• Any hands-on machining, welding or workshop experience.

3. A morning in Seville with the team, the workshop and the test rig.
