Head of Communications and Content

Turn regulation and operating data into content that brings fleet managers to the table.

About Mothium

Mothium builds professional electric vehicles for urban logistics and the agents that run them. MothiOS ships with every vehicle and today it runs maintenance, aftersales, routing and cost across real customer fleets. It is not a demo. It is operating.

What you'll do

Mothium is a technical company with an unusual amount to say. We sit on CEN/TC 333 and UNE, so we watch the sector's standard being written before it is published. We certify vehicles to EN 17860 and we run MothiOS across customer fleets, which means we hold operating data from a vertical where almost nothing is public. Most of it has never been turned into anything readable.

Your job is to do that, in Spanish and English, with your own editorial judgement. Blog, LinkedIn, press, trade shows and the material the sales team takes into a meeting. There is a position and a playbook already written, so you are not inventing the voice. You are the person who makes it produce every week.

Holding the line is the difficult part. We argue on cost per delivery, not on sustainability, because a fleet manager decides on operating numbers. No green adjectives, no press release language, no claim we cannot support with a standard, a regulation or a measurement. Writing that way is harder, and it is the only version that works on the audience we want.

You will need to understand the product properly. Not enough to paraphrase an engineer, enough to argue with one and to spot a claim that will not survive contact with a customer running fifty vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Run the blog and LinkedIn on your own editorial calendar, in Spanish and English.
  • Turn regulation, certification and operating data into content a fleet manager reads to the end.
  • Produce the sales material: presentations, case studies and technical one-pagers.
  • Manage press and trade media, and prepare the team for interviews.
  • Prepare our presence at trade shows and the content around it.
  • Measure which content produces conversations, and drop what does not.

What we're looking for

  • Outstanding writing in Spanish and English, both to publishing standard.
  • You have written about a technical product and had to get it right, not only get it out.
  • Editorial judgement: you decide what is worth publishing and you can defend the decision.
  • Comfortable interviewing an engineer and turning an hour of it into something readable.
  • Based in Seville or willing to relocate.

Counts in your favour

  • Industrial, mobility, logistics or B2B technology.
  • Reading regulation and standards as content material.
  • Video, photography or design production.

You will fit here if

  • You want your name on the argument, not a queue of tasks.
  • Here the pace of publishing follows the pace of the company: certification, production runs, customer approvals. Content waits sometimes, and that frustrates a lot of good writers.
  • You would rather publish one piece a fleet manager finishes than five nobody does.
  • You are comfortable telling the team that a claim will not survive contact with a customer.

What we offer

  • Material almost nobody else has: seats on CEN/TC 333 and UNE, EN 17860 certification and fleet operating data.
  • A brand with a clear position and a playbook already written, and the authority to develop it.
  • Direct access to the founders, the engineers, the workshop and the test rig.
  • 100% on-site work in Seville.

What the process looks like

  1. Intro call with our team, 30 minutes.
  2. Conversation about your work: what you wrote, who read it and what it produced.
  3. A short editorial exercise on a real subject of ours. Discussed, not submitted.
  4. A day in Seville with the team and the founders.

These steps can be completed in ten days.
