Seville, 8 October 2026. Mothium, the Seville-based engineering company that designs and manufactures commercial and industrial electric vehicles, has closed a €1 million funding round to grow its technology platform. The round is backed by Impacto Andalucía Innovación y Desarrollo SICC, S.A.U. and Fundalogy. Mothium: the platform that makes commercial and industrial electric vehicles cheaper to run

‍

Mothium's goal is to cut the total cost of running a fleet on both fronts: the vehicle and its management. Its vehicle carries its own patented technology, designed to make it cheaper to operate and maintain. The eCargoBike is the first use case; Mothium intends to take the platform to others.

‍

Its operating system for professional fleets brings together fleet management and after-sales agents that cut management time and raise productivity.

‍

Mothium works with a leading industrial partner: UNEI, a leading social enterprise in Andalusia that secures the scale-up of series production from its operations hub in Seville.

‍

One obsession: lowering the total cost of operation

‍

Sergio González, CEO of Mothium, said: "Our obsession is making a commercial electric vehicle cost our customers less to run, both the vehicle itself and its management. We cover both parts of the cost and, as a result, help decarbonise transport. The eCargoBike is our first use case; what we are scaling is the platform we have already validated. Today our agents manage the fleet and after-sales; in the future we want our vehicles to carry out missions in the tasks nobody wants to do or that involve risk."

‍

Javier de Pro, Managing Director of Fundalogy, said: "Mothium is developing technology that already simplifies fleet management and aims to reduce hazardous work while helping to decarbonise mobility. That is the impact we look for at Fundalogy, with technology made in Andalusia. We want to stay by its side in the next stages of its growth."

‍

Cristina Reina, Managing Director Real Estate & Public Funds at Arcano Partners' Asset Management Division, said: "At Arcano Partners we have built a platform specialised in managing public funds, with a team experienced in mobilising European and regional resources through market-based financial instruments. Through the Impacto Andalucía Innovación y Desarrollo SICC vehicle, we strengthen our commitment to supporting innovative companies, ensuring that public capital is channelled efficiently alongside private capital."
